That’s Ok Mama Their going to push me through the grades Mama That’s OK Mama I don’t have to be accountable Mama That’s OK Mama Why are you surprised Mama? I don’t have to be accountable, Mama! That’s Ok Mama I’m still with my friends Mama That’s Ok Mama We don’t have to be accountable! That’s OK Mama Why are you surprised Mama? All I did was break the window Mama That’s Ok Mama I’m still with my friends Mama That’s Ok Mama We don’t have to be accountable Mama That’s Ok Mama Why are you crying Mama? All I did was write on some walls Mama That’s Ok Mama I can’t read or write Mama That’s Ok Mama The teacher’s promote me anyway Mama That’s OK Mama Why are you surprised Mama? I don’t have to be accountable Mama That’s Ok Mama Society owes me a job, Mama That’s Ok Mama No one tells me right from wrong, Mama That’s Ok Mama Why are you so angry Mama? The police are being accountable Mama! That’s Ok Mama The state will clothe and feed me Mama That’s Ok Mama Twelve years doesn’t seem so long Mama That’s Ok Mama Why are you so sad Mama At least in here I’ll get an education Mama That’s Ok Mama My children will be looked after, Mama That’s Ok Mama You can visit them anytime you want Mama That’s Ok Mama The system won’t let us down Mama That’s Ok Mama The system works!
