Individuals of all ages strive to aim for goals or targets through the life span, but sometimes the goal(s) become sidetracked by circumstances in and out of our control.  Sutter & Associates are dedicated professionals who are available to assist individuals, couples, and groups of all ages and ethnicities to move toward obtaining these goals.

Trauma - a deeply distressing or disturbing experience
 
Attachment - the condition of being attached to someone or                                someone, in particular.

Occupational Stress Injury (OSI)-“The taxing nature of the work conducted by (professionals) may lead to... mental health effects… and, in the most extreme cases, cause (professionals) to drop out from (their) field as a result of burnout or Compassion Fatigue.” (O’Brien & Haaga, 2015, p. 5)  

Compassion Fatigue- indifference to charitable appeals on behalf of those who are suffering, experienced as a result of the number of such appeals.

Burnout -physical or mental collapse caused by overwork or stress

Post traumatic Stress Disorder - a condition of persistent mental and emotional stress occurring as a result of injury or severe psychological shock, typically involving disturbances of sleep and constant vivid recall of the experience, with dulled responses to others and to the outside world.

Located in Claresholm, Alberta, Sutter and Associates provides counselling, therapy, and educational consultation services to residents of South Western Alberta in a private, confidential setting.
Fees for services are on an individual basis and can be discussed/clarified in an initial free consultation.
